Why this one divides people

Some meetings announce their pointlessness in the first ninety seconds. The most quoted tell is someone reading a slide you can already see, word for word, slowly. Close behind is the meeting with no agenda, which is really a meeting about deciding what the meeting is. Others say the giveaway is the ritual lap of the room where each person says a sentence nobody records. The debate is oddly heated because everyone has a different pain point: some hate wasted time, and some hate being made to perform attention for half an hour.
