What's the worst kind of rain to be caught in?
There is no correct answer to this one. In Hivemind you are guessing which of these 5 answers most other people picked.
The options
- Fine drizzle
- Sideways rain with wind
- A sudden downpour
- Freezing cold rain
- All-day grey rain
Why this one divides people
The obvious answer is the wind-driven kind, because it defeats the umbrella and soaks you from an angle no coat was designed for. But there is a strong minority argument for drizzle, which looks harmless enough that you leave without protection and arrive wet anyway, having made a series of small bad decisions. Cold rain wins votes from anyone who has felt it find the gap at the back of a collar. The downpour is arguably the fairest, since at least it is honest about what it intends to do. The endless grey day gets fewer votes but lingers longest in memory.

In the game itself you always see a split, because a seeded baseline stands in until recorded answers outweigh it. That estimate is ours, so it is never published here as crowd data.
