Why this one divides people
Heat becomes intolerable at night, which is why sleep tends to run away with this one. A hot day can be endured; a third hot night in a row starts to affect everything else. The stickiness answer comes from people who mind the constant low-level discomfort more than the peak, the sense of never quite being clean.
