Chores & tidying
What do you tidy first when visitors are ten minutes away?
There is no correct answer to this one. In Hivemind you are guessing which of these 5 answers most other people picked.
The options
- Kitchen counters
- The bathroom sink
- Cushions and throws
- Shoes by the door
- Floor clutter
Why this one divides people
Ten minutes is not cleaning, it is triage, and everyone has a different first move. Kitchen counters win for most people because a clear surface reads as a clean room even when nothing else has been touched. A sizeable group goes straight for whatever is on the floor, on the theory that clutter at ankle height is the loudest. Bathroom voters are planning ahead for the one room a guest will definitely enter alone. Cushion-fluffers are staging a photograph. Shoe-tidiers are thinking about the doorway, which is the very first thing seen.

In the game itself you always see a split, because a seeded baseline stands in until recorded answers outweigh it. That estimate is ours, so it is never published here as crowd data.
